I’ve been attending Alive in Christ Lutheran Church for several months now, and it has truly become a spiritual home for me. The welcoming atmosphere hits you right away—everyone from Pastor Justin to the congregation members greets you with genuine warmth and makes you feel like family from the first visit.The worship services at 9:00 AM on Sundays are Gospel-centered, biblically solid, and uplifting. The preaching is clear, relevant, and always points back to Christ’s grace and forgiveness. I appreciate how they balance traditional Lutheran liturgy with a contemporary feel that doesn’t compromise on truth.What stands out most is the focus on equipping and encouraging people to grow in faith while serving others. The small groups and Bible studies have helped me deepen my relationship with God and build meaningful connections with others. It’s a place where faith is lived out practically through community and outreach.If you’re looking for a friendly, faithful Lutheran church in the Marana/Tucson area that emphasizes being “alive in Christ” through relationships and the Word, I highly recommend checking them out. What a blessing it is to attend Alive in Christ Church Lutheran. Pastor Justin Wixon is outstanding in his sermons. What a pleasure to hear the true gospel spoken about God's love, peace and mercy that we receive as a gift through what his Son Jesus Christ has done for us.

Pastor Wixon is a great Pastor, his sermons have helped me understand the meaning of Bible verses while he leads us to God's grace.
